DTFC discusses fixation of minor mineral rates at Poonch

DC asks for strict enforcement 

POONCH, OCTOBER 02:  Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee (DTFC) to review the rates of minor mineral (construction material) and processed minerals.

 The meeting held a threadbare discussion for the fixation of the sale price of sand, River Bajri, boulders, crushing stone, crushed washed sand, and crushed dust, and the rates were proposed on the basis of present market rates.

The Deputy Commissioner, who is also Chairperson of DLTFC, directed the concerned officers to implement the rates of minor minerals at the source level in letter and spirit to give relief to common people.

 The DC emphasized upon the concerned agencies to strengthen the mechanism of checking illegal extraction of minor minerals from the river beds.

The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Basharat Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zahir Ahmed Kaifi, District Mineral  Officer, Javed Iqbal, Head Quater Assistant, Jahangir Hussain,  Xen, PHE,  Rajesh Sethi, Xen PWD, Parviaz Ahmed Malik besides other concerned officers were present.
