JAMMU, Feb. 10: Choudhary Lal Singh, a former minister and the leader of the Dogra Swabhiman Sanghthan Party, narrowly escaped injury when his SUV was involved in an accident on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway in the Kathua district.
Lal Singh was returning from a wedding ceremony late on Thursday night when his vehicle, along with the driver, was involved in an accident near Londi Morh, according to police in this area on Friday.
A party leader said, “The accident happened when the driver stopped to save the animals on the road, which led to the air bags in the vehicle opening and rescuing both occupants from catastrophic injury.” Both are secure, he continued.
