13-08-2021: Government Degree College Dudu Basantgarh organized a drive on Clean and Green India as a part of celebrations of 75th Years of Independence to commemorate ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’
The basic aim of the event was to imbibe the sense in students to clean their surroundings & tracks and to create awareness about the importance of a clean and green environment. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the College Dr. Bhavnaish Chand enjoined the students to involve the community in the maintenance of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste disposal. He further asked the students to take a pledge to commit themselves to make India plastic-free and plant trees for a safe and green environment. He reiterated that making surroundings clean and green is a befitting tribute to our motherland on this Independence Day.
The students took part in their neighborhood clean-up drive with great enthusiasm and shared their photographs and videos. The event was organized by Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal and Prof. Rahul Sharma under the supervision and guidance of the worthy Principal of the College. E-certificates were given to all participating students.
