JAMMU, July 16: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta asserted that the government is committed to provide all the facilities to Shri Amarnathji Yatra pilgrims during their halts in different places to make the pilgrimage hassle-free.
The BJP stalwart leader was speaking after the start of a Langar (Community Kitchen) here at Saraswati Dham by Shri Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society.
Kavinder inaugurated the Langar and complemented the Shri Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society President Kiran Wattal; Vice President Anil Gupta; General Secretary Deepak Gupta; Treasurer, Prem Sharma and Members Satish Gupta, Sanjay Sethi, Davinder Gupta for organizing Langar for the pilgrims at Saraswati Dham, Railway Station Jammu. He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to contribute in whatever way they could to ensure pilgrims’ comfortable stay and travel in the Union Territory because this is part and parcel of the tradition of the region. He said that by providing warmth and showing hospitality to the pilgrims of Shri Amarnathji and also Mata Vaishno Devi, the people can take the blessings of Lord Shiva and of course Mata Vaishno Deviji.
Later, the BJP senior functionary also interacted with the pilgrims at Saraswati Dham and took firsthand information about the facilities being offered to them. He said that the government is taking all measures to ensure that no one faces any trouble during the Yatra. He also took stock of the facilities being provided to the pilgrims by the UT administration. He assured the pilgrims that the government has taken proactive steps for their comfort and convenience during the Yatra and any discomfort is out of the question.
The senior BJP leader said that the Modi Government has issued special instructions to the concerned quarters to ensure hassle-free and secure Yatra with no compromise on the facilities and security of those visiting the holy cave shrine of Bhagwan Shiv.
