BHUBANESWAR, Aug 9: The IEEE Microwave India Summit 2026 is bringing together researchers, industry experts, technology professionals and academics in Bhubaneswar to discuss developments in radio frequency, microwave and semiconductor technologies.
The two day summit, being held at the KIIT Convention Centre on August 8 and 9, is focusing on areas including defence and space technologies, emerging RF applications, semiconductor development and communication systems.
The event features keynote sessions, expert discussions and industry exhibitions aimed at strengthening collaboration between research institutions and technology companies.
A major theme of the summit is the role of microwave and RF technologies in defence and space applications. Discussions are also examining developments in microwave semiconductor technologies and opportunities for indigenous innovation.
The summit’s programme includes a panel discussion on AI advances in RF and microwave technologies, reflecting the increasing convergence of artificial intelligence with engineering and communication systems.
