SRINAGAR: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra enjoined snowfall at Congress headquarters here on Monday, the day marking the end of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The scene showcased the strong bond of love and affection between the siblings, as they created memories to cherish for a lifetime. Despite the cold weather, they didn’t hesitate to have fun and express their love for each other. Their playful interaction was a reminder of the importance of sibling relationships and the joy they bring to many present there.
The tricolour flag was earlier raised at the Congress headquarters in Srinagar by Rahul Gandhi. He completed his almost 4,000 km march, traveling through 12 states in five months. The Congress party has invited 21 political parties to participate in a rally at the Sher-e-Kashmir stadium in this city later today, setting up a display of Opposition unity. The party said that a memorial for the BJY will be unveiled by Congress President Mallikarjum Kharge.
