New Delhi, Aug 08 : India’s women’s singles campaign at the Korea Masters 2026 gathered momentum as Ashmita Chaliha and Rakshitha Ramraj advanced to the semifinal stage of the BWF Super 300 tournament in Gwangju.
The tournament, being held from August 4 to 9, has attracted leading players from across the international badminton circuit. The event carries a prize purse of $250,000 and features competitions across men’s and women’s singles and doubles as well as mixed doubles.
Chaliha’s progress represents an encouraging development for Indian badminton as the country prepares to host the BWF World Championships in New Delhi later this month.
