J&K will soon become new model for development under Modi regime: Kavinder

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today asserted that soon Jammu and Kashmir will become new model for development in the country under the Modi government.
He was addressing a gathering after launching development work of lane and drain in Ward No 52, Ambedkar Nagar Jammu. Local Corporator Ajay Gupta and prominent persons of the area were present.

Kavinder said that the areas in Jammu region which faced discrimination of the successive governments for years together are now been prioritized to see development as never before. He said that the local administration and the central dispensation are working with complete synergy to realize record level of development in J&K. He said that the way the big development projects are fast approaching completion the time is not far away when the J&K Model of development will become common term in the country as no other state or UT is developing with such a lightning speed.

The former Deputy Chief Minister appreciated Corporator Ajay Gupta for playing pivotal role in carrying out development works with an aim to provide civic amenities to the people of Trikuta Nagar area. He said that development works are moving with lightning speed as the city is changing and upgrading with each passing day. He said that never in the history of J&K such a big scale of development was seen ever.

Kavinder said that the vision of PM Modi is so broad and farsighted that his endeavours in Jammu and Kashmir have changed the development scenario with one and all looking forward to the progress being made by the Union Territory.

Meanwhile, the former Deputy Chief Minister also interacted with the people of the area and took stock of their problems and issues on the occasion. After giving them a patient hearing, he assured to get their grievances addressed at the earliest by taking up the matter with the concerned authorities.
