Rajan Gupta sought special attention of the CCI on the online selling of medicine by the giant capitalist Reliance across Jammu city at substantially low prices that has a direct impact upon the very survival of the local pharmaceutical traders. He said that the aforesaid development has made it impossible for all the local traders in this sector to compete with Reliance in providing medicines at such low price to the customers. He sought the intervention, help and support of the CCI to take up their issues with the Administration on priority basis and get their concerns addressed.
After giving a keen and patient hearing to the JPDA team members, the CCI President Arun Gupta said that Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry will fight for the genuine cause of Jammu’s pharmaceutical traders.
