JAMMU: Coming down heavily against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Kavinder Gupta senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister of erstwhile J&K state said that AAP chief’s sudden ‘love’ towards Kashmiri Pandit Community is nothing but the new election stunt as the polls are on cards in the Union Territory.
In a statement issued to media persons, Kavinder said that the AAP leader has done ‘Masters in Hypocrisy’ and that is the reason behind his overnight affection towards the Kashmiri Pandits. He said had the Chief Minister of Delhi was so concerned about the aforesaid community, he must have given them succour in Delhi by launching some benevolent schemes for the community living in exile.
The senior BJP functionary said that the statements by Kejriwal against BJP Government shows his ‘cunningness’ as he is trying to encash the situation arising out of unfortunate targeted killings, eyeing the upcoming polls in the UT.
The BJP stalwart also said that many entities have alleged that AAP party has taken funding from Khalistani supporters living abroad during Punjab polls and now by shedding crocodile tears he is making a similar ground in J&K as well. He said people should remain wary about the foxy political tricks by Arvind Kejriwal because at the time of need in Valley, being the CM of Delhi, he should extend a helping hand for the national cause to combat terror mongers but contrarily he is misleading people through his incendiary statements.
Kavinder made it clear that what the BJP Government has accomplished in J&K including the abrogation of Article 370, no other party or person can even image to do the same and soon the phase of attacks on soft targets will also be overcome as already effective steps have been taken to tighten noose around the violence mongers working in the Valley on the behest of their Pakistani mentors.
