Officials familiar with the matter said the ministry has directed authorities to submit a detailed assessment of procedures adopted during the examination cycle, with particular attention being paid to the appointment of private service providers involved in operational support.
As part of the ongoing scrutiny, authorities have requested documentation related to the engagement of COEMPT, a firm associated with key examination functions. The review aims to evaluate whether prescribed standards, technical requirements, and performance benchmarks were adequately considered during the selection process.
Government officials indicated that investigators are examining records, contractual obligations, and compliance protocols to determine whether any lapses occurred at various levels of implementation. The findings are expected to help identify vulnerabilities that may have exposed the examination system to potential risks.
Sources within the ministry emphasized that maintaining the credibility of national entrance examinations remains a top priority. They stated that any individual or organization found responsible for procedural violations, security failures, or misconduct will face stringent action in accordance with applicable regulations.
The investigation is being carried out in coordination with specialized agencies tasked with assessing digital security frameworks and examining possible weaknesses in data protection systems.
