NEW DELHI, May 15: Oil marketing companies on Friday increased the retail prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 3 per litre amid a rise in international energy costs.
Following the revision, petrol in the national capital will now retail at Rs 97.77 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs 99.67 per litre.
The latest increase comes as global crude oil markets continue to witness volatility, prompting fuel retailers to adjust domestic rates. The move is expected to add to transportation and household expenses across the country.
