Srinagar, 09 Dec: As part of its public outreach programme, Cabinet Minister Sakina Masood (Itoo) Monday Presided over an Awami Darbar at Nalbal Community Hall in Nowshahr, Zadibal constituency. Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq coordinated the event.
The meeting was marked by the presence of representatives from different wings of civil administration. People from different walks of life from across the constituency raised various pressing issues concerning them before the MLA and the minister. The issues were on spot discussed with the concerned officials for speedy redressal.
The meeting saw threadbare discussions and reviews on the various ongoing projects. Hon’ble Minister Sakina Masood and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq stressed upon the administration to ensure citizen first attitude. They impressed upon the officials to ensure steady utility services in the areas falling in the assembly segment.
Sadiq, who secured a landslide victory in the recent elections for the assembly segment, brought up a multitude of concerns regarding essential utility services, education, healthcare, and social welfare schemes during a meeting with government officials. He also discussed the need for better surface connectivity with the honorable minister.
The meeting was marked by active participation from individuals and groups who voiced their issues. Several issues were addressed during the meeting itself.
In addition, members of the party’s local unit were also present.
