Mumbai, Oct 13 : Pop superstar Taylor Swift is set to take fans behind the scenes of one of the most iconic tours in music history. On Monday, Swift announced that her six-part documentary series, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era,” will premiere on Disney+ on December 12.
Simultaneously, she will release a brand-new concert film, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” capturing the grand finale of her record-breaking world tour in Vancouver. Both projects will drop on the same day, offering a double treat for Swifties.
Sharing the news on Instagram with a one minute and 39 second teaser, Swift reflected on the emotional journey of her tour. “It was the end of an era, and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives,” she wrote.
The documentary series, directed by Don Argott and co directed by Sheena M. Joyce, produced by Object & Animal, promises an intimate look at Taylor’s life during the Eras Tour. Fans will see appearances by Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, as well as glimpses of family, friends, and the team behind the tour’s global success.
The first two episodes of the docuseries, along with the concert film directed by Glenn Weiss, will premiere on December 12, with subsequent episodes releasing two per week over the following two weeks. The concert film highlights the spectacular closing performance at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on December 8, 2023.
This release marks a historic moment for fans, providing an all access pass to the creative world and unforgettable performances that defined Swift’s Eras Tour.
