Two Jaish Terrorists Arrested In Pulwama, J&K

Srinagar, Feb. 13: In J&K’s Pulwama district, two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist affiliates were captured on Monday along with weapons and ammunition. According to the police, Rashtriya Rifles and a police squad were deployed to many suspicious places after receiving information regarding the delivery of weapons and ammunition to the village of Naina Bhatpora. Two suspects were seen moving with a bag while operating a Scooty.

The two were apprehended and identified as Showkat Ahmad Digoo and his young cousin. When questioned, Showkat Ahmed revealed that he was in contact with OGW Firdous Ahmed Bhat, a jailed member of the same village’s JeM organisation, and that the weapons and ammunition taken from him were intended for further distribution and use in attacks against the police and other security personnel.

25 Chinese grenades, two pistol magazines, 230 pistol rounds, 10 AK magazines, and 300 AK bullets were found, according to the police.
