12-02-2023 : Authorities said on Sunday that two teenagers were killed when their speeding motorcycle went off a road and slammed into a house’s boundary wall.
When the accident occurred near Nai Basti Nud in the Akhnoor region about 10 p.m. on Saturday, officials reported that Rohit Kumar (20) and Aman Sharma (19) were travelling from Bomal to Devipur.
The teenagers were brought to a local hospital with serious injuries, where doctors immediately pronounced Kumar dead. Later, while being taken from Jammu to Punjab for specialised care, Sharma passed away.
According to the authorities, both of the deceased were cremated on Sunday.
