UDHAMPUR, MAY, 15: The alertness of Surinder Suryavanshi, a resident of ward number -17 of Udhampur town, averted the breakdown of a vital power distribution transformer in his locality due to thick wild weed-grown around it.
Surinder alerted the District Administration through social media and sought immediate help.
The District Administration took the matter with JPDCL officials and directed them to take necessary action and clear the weed to avoid any untoward incident.
The officials of the concerned department rushed to the spot and cleared the transformer in a short span of time.
