Jammu, 10-01-2024: A Delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association led by Sh. Lalit Mahajan, President, BBIA met with Sh. P. K. Bhat (JKAS) Commissioner, State Taxes Department, J&K in the presence of Sh. Tarun Singla Sr. Vice President, BBIA, Sh. Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary, BBIA & Sh. Rajesh Jain, Secretary BBIA.
While welcoming Sh. P.K. Bhat (JKAS), on his appointment as Commissioner, State Taxes Department, J&K, issues related to Industrial Sector was discussed in detail for early resolution which includes the issuance of Onetime Amnesty Notification in respect of Time-Barred Cases of CGST/SGST Reimbursement, Reimbursement of SGST to Existing Units as on 31-3-2021 under Substantial Expansion with the change in the line of Activity /Manufacturing of Additional Items, issues related to Local Steel Industries, Time Bound release of Funds by Finance Department for the Reimbursement of GST and other related issues of Industrial Sector.
Sh. P.K. Bhat (JKAS), Commissioner, State Taxes Department, J&K assured the delegation that all the pending issues related to the Industrial Sector will be resolved.
