19-07-2022 : Sunil Dimple, president mission statehood, along with hundreds of traders led a strong cycle protest rally against the increase in 5 percent GST on the essential edible commodities. Demands PM to Rollback & bring Petrol, Diesel, and LPG under the GST.
Addressing the protest rally Sunil Dimple demanded Prime Minister Narender Modi to roll back the 5% increased GST & bring petrol, diesel, and LPG gas under the GST.
Dimple alleged the govt has imposed zazia of 5% increase, of GST on the food grains, edibles, atta, milk, curd, oils, dals, and the poor families are unable to feed their families.
Dimple said govt has already increased the rate of atta, rice, curd, milk, and cheese so high that one common man, has now imposed five percent zazia more on the eatables.
Dimple demanded the govt to stop this 5% increase of the GST and roll back the decision otherwise get ready to face agitation.
Dimple alleged the BJP govt has badly failed to stop the prices of vegetables, dals, edible mustard oils, and the daily needed items and the prices of everything has reached beyond the reach of the common man.
He alleged the union govt has already increased domestic LPG gas cylinders, and petrol-diesel prices, so high beyond the reach of the common man and now imposing 5 % more GST on edible products.
He demanded prime minister Narinder Modi to bring petrol, diesel, and LPG under GST and take effective steps to control the day increase of the prices of petroleum goods.
Dimple alleged the installation of smart meters, electricity heavy bills, the terror of taxes, stoppage of the darbar move after the abrogation of article 370, and special status had brought miseries for the people and traders of Jammu Kashmir.
Dimple demanded LG Manoj Sinha to restart of darbar move to save the Jammu trader’s trade.
He alleged after the demolition of the state in UT and the stopping of the darbar move the all-trade community of Jammu collapsed and all business has gone down to earth, and starvation among the traders due to the stoppage of the darbar move.
The other prominent who addended the rally were Ram Kapoor, Raju Kumar, Ashok Khana, Dev Raj, Vipan, Mukesh, Ram Kumar Das, Jetinder Gupta and many others.
