Jammu, April 26, 2026 : FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Chapter, in collaboration with the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Jammu Tourism, and the Jammu Tawi Golf Course, successfully organised The Magnolia Cup—a vibrant and inclusive golf tournament—on Sunday, 26 April 2026, at the picturesque Jammu Tawi Golf Course.
The event brought together over 100 participants from diverse backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, professionals, members of the business community, sportspersons, armed forces personnel, and golf enthusiasts. The tournament offered a perfect blend of spirited competition, meaningful networking, and community engagement.
The event was graced by Shri Satish Sharma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, as the Chief Guest, who lauded the initiative as a progressive step towards positioning Jammu as a hub for sports and business tourism. The Guest of Honour, Shri Vikram Jeet Singh, Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce, also appreciated the efforts of FLO JKL in conceptualising and executing such a purposeful and impactful initiative.
FLO JKL extended its heartfelt gratitude to Shri Arun Manhas, Director Industries & Commerce; Shri Aijaz Qaisar, Joint Director Tourism; and Shri Manav Gupta, Secretary, Jammu Tawi Golf Course, for their gracious presence during the ceremonial Tee-Off of the tournament.
The Magnolia Cup featured an engaging Scramble format for professionals and a Putting segment for amateurs, fostering teamwork, inclusivity, and a relaxed yet competitive spirit. Beyond the game, the event served as a dynamic platform for building connections, exchanging ideas, and strengthening professional and social bonds.
The Overall Winning Team comprised Mr. Showkat Maqbool, Mr. Parikshit Bishnoi, Mr. Rajesh Prabhakar, and Mr. Col. Malakay, who delivered an outstanding performance on the course. In the Putting Competition, Ms. Wadhana Khan emerged as the Overall Winner. Winners were also recognised across various categories, including Straight Drive, Longest Drive, Nearest to Pin, and Bulls Eye, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit of the tournament.
At its core, the Magnolia Cup is driven by a larger vision—to support the establishment of a skilling centre aimed at empowering women in the region to become self-reliant and financially independent. The initiative aspires to leverage sports as a catalyst for social change and community development.

Most importantly, it reflects our commitment to creating a lasting and meaningful impact for women and society at large.”
The day concluded with an elegant gala networking dinner, featuring live music and engaging interactions, followed by a lively prize distribution ceremony where winners were felicitated with trophies and special mementos.
The event also witnessed the enthusiastic presence and support of the FLO JKL Core Team and Past Chairpersons, whose collective efforts contributed significantly to the grand success of the Magnolia Cup.
