Jammu, 10-10-2023: Modi Government has effectively taken many steps to develop and promote the tourism sector in the whole of Jammu & Kashmir and especially in the region of Jammu, where “Religious Tourism” remains the priority along with other circuits in the nation, said Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister and added that the Modi government is committed for nurturing tourism potential in J&K and very Bharatiya Janata Party worker remains committed to the mission.
Kavinder Gupta, former Dy. CM accompanied by RS Pathania, former MLA & BJP Spokesperson, and Munish Sharma, Prabhari BJYM was attending to the public grievances at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP Minority Morcha President Ranjodh Nalwa was also present on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta said that the Modi government is giving top priority to boost the religious tourism in the nation and providing massive funds for this. He expressed satisfaction over the way the major development tasks are being taken to promote tourism circuits in the Jammu region at the behest of the Modi government but at the same time emphasized on the need for more concentrated efforts on behalf of Department of Tourism, while he was attending to a deputation of tourism-related professionals.
RS Pathania said that people from all walks of life have their substantial issues and need an appropriate platform for their redressal. He said that while BJP leaders listen to these issues in a comprehensive manner, the administration should also make efforts for a responsive and a pro-active grievance redressal mechanism.
Munish Sharma stressed on the need to address the major issues of the public especially related to electricity and water supply, while coordinating the grievances camp.
Numerous individuals and deputations from different parts of Jammu & Kashmir visited the party office to represent the issues of their respective areas as well as their individual concerns before the senior party leaders.
Listening patiently to the various issues represented by the deputations, BJP leaders telephonically talked to the concerned departmental officials for resolving the issues and also issued letters to many of them.
