12-04-2023 : The Press Club Udhampur is now a reality, fulfilling a long-awaited dream for the district’s journalists. During a general meeting attended by journalists from Udhampur, Ramnagar, Chenani, and Majalta, a new District Press Club Udhampur body was unanimously nominated after much discussion and suggestions.
The newly elected district body includes Sh. Pardeep Bakshi as District president, Sh. Pankaj Saraf as vice president, Sh. Vinay Sharma as General Secretary, Sh. Anil Dubey as Chairman, Sh. Dipankar Gupta as Vice Chairman, Sh. Romesh Gupta as Deputy Vice Chairman, Sh. Sher Singh as Secretary, Sh. Arun Kumar as Joint Secretary, Sh. Sunil Kapoor as Press Secretary, Sh. Vinay Jandial as Joint Secretary, Sh. Rajesh Anand as District spokesperson, Sh. Afatb Hindustani as Treasurer, and Advo Rahul Jandial as Legal Advisor. Additionally, Miss Mansi, Vijay Thakur, and Sh. Neeraj Kesar, among others, have been nominated as member of the Club.
In a brief address, the newly elected president promised to live up to the expectations of the members and contribute to the welfare of the journalist fraternity, while also working closely with civil and police administration for the overall benefit of the people.
