AICC assigns key responsibility to Karan Bhagat in Punjab

Expresses gratitude to Congress High Command, vows full commitment to strengthen party organization

Jammu: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) SC Department has assigned an important organisational responsibility to senior Congress leader from Jammu & Kashmir UT, Karan Bhagat, by appointing him as Co-Incharge for Punjab in the party’s Scheduled Caste Department.According to an official order issued by the AICC SC Department under the chairmanship of Rajendra Pal Gautam, Karan Bhagat has been entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating organisational activities in Punjab along with senior party leader Sudhir Chaudhary.

The work allocation order, issued from the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, outlines the responsibilities assigned to various National Coordinators appointed earlier by the party leadership to strengthen the organisation across different states.Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Congress high command for reposing faith in him, Karan Bhagat thanked the party leadership, including senior AICC functionaries and the SC Department leadership, for giving him the opportunity to serve the organisation in a significant role.

Bhagat stated that he would work with complete dedication, sincerity, and commitment to fulfil the responsibility entrusted to him. He said the assignment reflects the party’s confidence in grassroots leadership from Jammu & Kashmir and would motivate party workers across the Union Territory.“I am deeply grateful to the Congress leadership for entrusting me with this responsibility. I assure the party high command that I will give my 100 percent to strengthen the organisation and work tirelessly for the welfare and empowerment of Scheduled Castes and weaker sections,” Bhagat said.

He further added that the Congress party has always stood for social justice, equality, and inclusive development, and he would actively work to strengthen the party at the grassroots level in Punjab through coordination, outreach programmes, and organisational mobilisation.Party workers and supporters from Jammu & Kashmir congratulated Karan Bhagat on his appointment and expressed confidence that his experience and dedication would help strengthen the Congress organisation in the assigned state.
