This kind of action has been going on continuously for some time. By running bulldozers on the houses of Gurjar Bakarwals, their houses are being turned into Malwa. In this way, their children have been deprived of food and water in this 44-degree heat. Along with this, the condition of their great beasts is also worth seeing.
It was heard that Mughal Emperor Akbar Baddhah would shift his base at night to assess the living conditions of the people. Those who lacked the means to pay for food and other expenses would receive relief by morning. However, the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is the opposite. “Ram Ram in the mouth, knife in the side. Gujjar, Bakarwal, and anti-Muslim policies are being implemented. Political figures are making statements that suggest this policy is being implemented in Jammu, which is very dangerous for Jammu and Kashmir. In the name of religion, people’s homes are being reduced to rubble.
Dalit OBC Minority Adivasis (DOMA) Confederation appeals to the Chief Minister Jnb Omar Abdullah government to visit areas in Jammu, especially where bulldozers are demolishing the homes of Gujjar Bakarwals, the underprivileged, and atrocities are being committed.
The government should issue a white paper and build houses for every family that does not have a house to live in. If even after this, if someone continues to build on state land, then take action. If this campaign of harassment is not stopped and relief is not provided to the affected people as soon as possible, then the Doma Confederation may have to come on the road and protest against the government.
R K Kalsotra, State President of the Doma Confederation, warns, ‘If this campaign of harassment is not stopped and relief is not provided to the affected people as soon as possible, then the Doma Confederation may have to come on the road and protest against the government.’
