Former Congress MLC conducts tour of remote area of Sunderbani

 Draws attention of Govt. towards problems of people. Bata Tala to Hathal Road in bad condition

Sunderbani, September 23:  Former MLC Ravinder Sharma visited remote areas of Langer, Nahoti, Saidda in Hathal panchayat and Tok Banyad Thanger Kamila Pur area of Upper Kangri in Tehsil Sunderbani and Tehsil Baripattan and took stock of the problems of people.

Mr. Sharma was accompanied by a team of congress leaders and local Representatives including Block President N.C. Sharma (retired D.F.O. ), Ashok Kumar punch ( general secretary) DCC,  Subedar Kashmir Singh Panch (vice president) Puran Chand, Satpal Panch, besides others. the people complained that the road link from Bata Tala to Hathal via Saidda , constructed by him (Ravinder Sharma ) out of  MLC -CDF is in bad shape and the representatives /government failed to maintain it and convert it into a pakka road, the road has due to lack of maintenance and macadamization and is not transport worthy leading to great hardships to the vast population of the area as the government and local MLA, MLC and other representatives totally abandoned it.

Mr. Sharma noticed the hand pump at Langer is not in working condition making the people of surrounding localities suffer.    The Tok Banyad  – Meenka road constructed during his tenure has developed potholes and washed away at many places because of lack of proper maintenance and drainage system and demanded its improvement and Upgradation immediately.

 Mr.  Sharma also demanded immediate resumption of the work on the Baripattan lift irrigation and sanction of mega drinking water filtration plant in Baripattan proposed at the cost of 12.5 crores for the vast suffering population of the surrounding area.

Mr. Sharma also discussed the problems of  Ex-servicemen of the area. Mr. Vaishno Dass Sharma, an ex-serviceman raised the issue of the establishment of ECHS Polyclinic at Sunderbani. Mr. Sharma said that he had already taken up the demand at various levels and hoped that the concerned authorities may be directed to expedite the process and sanction the ECHS Polyclinic at Sunderbani, on priority to mitigate the sufferings of thousands of ESMs and Veer Naries of the area.
