Ranveer Singh Joins SRK-Rajinikanth Elite as Dhurandhar Crosses Rs 325 Crore

Actor's reported earnings from the blockbuster duology place him among Indian cinema's top earners, alongside stars known for high-value revenue-sharing agreements.

Mumbai: Actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly secured one of the biggest paydays in Indian cinema after earning an estimated Rs 325 crore from the blockbuster Dhurandhar duology. The reported figure stems from a profit-sharing arrangement that allowed the actor to benefit directly from the films’ commercial performance rather than receiving a conventional acting fee.

According to media reports, Ranveer opted against charging a fixed remuneration for the project and instead negotiated a share of the revenues generated from theatrical collections, satellite rights, digital streaming deals and music rights. The model is increasingly being adopted by leading actors seeking a larger stake in successful productions.

The two Dhurandhar films, initially envisioned as a single cinematic venture, emerged as major box-office successes. Reports further suggest that Ranveer contributed additional funds when production costs increased, a move that reportedly enhanced his profit participation in the project.

The actor’s earnings are said to have surged as the films performed strongly across markets, making the duology one of the most financially rewarding ventures of his career. If the reported figures are accurate, Ranveer would join an exclusive group of Indian film stars who have earned substantial sums through revenue-sharing agreements.

Industry observers note that profit-sharing deals carry significant risks because earnings depend entirely on a film’s commercial outcome. However, blockbuster successes can generate returns far exceeding traditional acting fees.

The reported windfall has drawn comparisons with major stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Allu Arjun and Prabhas, all of whom have been associated with lucrative profit-sharing arrangements on successful films.

Despite widespread discussion surrounding the reported Rs 325 crore earnings, neither Ranveer Singh nor the makers of Dhurandhar have officially confirmed the figure.
