10 Shops demolished, another 15 Kanal land retrieved at Ghagwal

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 01: Ten shops constructed over 3 Kanal encroached temple land were today demolished and another 15 Kanal land retrieved here at village Ghagwal during an anti-encroachment drive launched by district administration Samba, under them supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria.

The shops were illegally constructed over 3 kanal land of Narsingh Jee Temple. Another 15 Kanal encroached land was also evicted during the drive.

The anti-encroachment team was led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma.

The team pressed in a JCB machine and demolished the concrete structures including shops, pavements, RCC structures and other temporary structures.

Tehsildar, Ghagwal, Raman Chalotra, SHO, Inspector Kuldeep Raj besides revenue officials and J&K police were also part of the team.
