12 crusher units sealed in Bajalta

JAMMU, Nov 9: 12 illegally operated crusher units were sealed in the Bajalta area. As per the reports, a team comprising District Mineral Officer (DMO) Jammu Ankur Sachdev, Naib Tehsildar Shiv Kumar Gupta, and Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Ayub Khan seized 12 crusher units which were operating illegally in Bajalta area.
On the basis of complaints, and inputs from field functionaries regarding the illegal functioning of stone crushers in the Bajalta area, a team from Geology and Mining Department Jammu contacted SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma and SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh who provided sufficient police assistance and desired support to carry out the operation.
