12 Family Members Fall Unconscious in Handwara; Food Poisoning Suspected
All victims from Nowgam village shifted to GMC Handwara; condition stable, say officials
Handwara, Nov 24: Twelve members of a family from Nowgam village in Handwara fell unconscious during the night hours, with officials attributing the incident to suspected food poisoning.
According to an official, the affected family members were initially rushed to NTPHC for first aid before being referred to GMC Handwara for advanced medical care. He confirmed that all 12 individuals are currently stable and receiving necessary treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the suspected food contamination.
