13 NDRF conducts rescue Mock drill in GDC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 06: On the second day of two day Mock Drill by 13 NDRF, a Mock Exercise on Earthquake and Landslide rescue was today held at GDC Kishtwar.

Team of 13 NDRF led by Javed Iqbal, Asstt. Commandant, conducted a full Scale Mock Exercise on Fire fighting, Earthquake and land slide.

The Mock exercise was based on scenario of earthquake/discussed in TTEx at DC Conference hall, Kishtwar on yesterday.

During Mock Exercise, the NDRF team demonstrated medical first aids techniques, CSSR evacuation techniques and Rope Rescue with following all guidelines.

About 450 participants including 250 Students, Medical Staff, District official, Staff of Fire Department, Home Guard, Civil Defence, SDRF, NDRF etc remained present during the exercise.

A debriefing was taken by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh yadav on the occasion.
