3rd T20 World Cup cricket tournament for Blind to be held in India

03-12-2022 : India will host the third T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for the Blind from December 5–17, 2022. Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and India will all compete in the 2022 World Cup. The competition will feature about 150 players from all over the world, and there will be a total of 24 matches spread among nine Indian cities. The tournament is being held to coincide with World Disability Day events around. the World Cup’s opening ceremony on December 5 at Gurugram’s Tau Devi Lal Indoor Stadium. Yuvraj Singh, a former Indian batsman, serves as the tournament’s brand ambassador.

The World Cup, an initiative of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) in association with Samarthanam Trust for the disabled, has been organizing this championship since 2012. Since its inception, Samarthanam Trust has organized over 30,000 visually impaired matches.
