4 Inches snow plunges Srinagar into darkness

Season’s first snowfall today completely caught the administration napping as Srinagar city plunges into darkness. Only four inches of white blanket has thrown life out of gear in Valley leaving authorities wondering what to do.

Srinagar city is completely in darkness while electricity poles and lines have been damaged in several parts of the valley. However, despite statements by administration that it is geared to face any eventuality have proved to be mirage.
