40-Year-Old Hunter Sunil Singh Found Dead with Firearm Injury in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba District
22-11-2023 : In a somber incident in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, a 40-year-old hunter, identified as Sunil Singh, was discovered lifeless with a firearm injury near his farm on Wednesday. According to officials, Singh sustained a gunshot wound to the head during a hunting expedition in the Gurha Slathia forest area, and it appears that he succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
The officials reported that Singh’s licensed 12-bore gun was found beside his lifeless body, which has been subsequently removed from the scene for a postmortem examination. In an effort to determine the precise cause of his demise, the police have initiated inquest proceedings.
