77 new Covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir; no deaths in 24 hours

08-04-2023 : Officials reported 77 new cases of Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, but no deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours. Of the new cases, 26 were from the Jammu division and 51 from the Kashmir Valley, bringing the total number of cases to 480,109. While 174,248 cases have been reported from Jammu division, 305,861 cases are from the Kashmir Valley. According to officials, 37 patients recovered from the virus during the same period – 5 from Jammu division and 32 from the Kashmir Valley. Currently, there are 349 active cases, with 119 in Jammu and 230 in the Kashmir Valley.

So far, 4,786 people have died from the virus, including 2,353 from Jammu division and 2,433 from the Valley. District-wise details of the cases revealed that Budgam reported 10 cases, while Srinagar, Jammu, and Baramulla each reported nine cases.
