Dalit, OBC, Minorities, Adivasi Confederation Holds Protest Against Home Minister Over Dr. Ambedkar Remarks
Jammu 20, December 2024: Today, Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Adivasi (DOMA) Parisangh organized a demonstration at Ambedkar Chowk against the insult of Baba Saheb, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by Amit Shah on the floor of the Parliament, in which hundreds of DOMA Parisangh officials and others participated and raised the slogans “ Home Minister Amit Shah isteepha den aur desh se maafee maangen, Dr Ambedkar ke sammaan main bahujan sangathan maidaan main, Baba Sahib ka apmaan nahi sahega Bharat”.
R K Kalsotra, State President Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Adivasi (DOMA) Parisangh, while addressing the demonstration said that the country will not tolerate the insult of Baba Saheb, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by Home Minister, Amit Shah on the floor of the Parliament. Amit Shah has not said this in anger or emotionally, but years of hatred is revealed behind it. On 12th December 1949, the RSS and Hindu Mahasabha had burnt the effigy of Dr. Ambedkar and a copy of the Constitution.
Kalsotra further said the hateful statement by Amit Shah came because the first constitutional amendment was made for Dalits, tribals and the poor. If the Zamindari system had not been abolished, the landless Dalits, tribals and the poor would not have been able to get land, this is the main reason for their hatred.
Since 2014, they have been continuously ending reservation. Recruitment in government jobs has almost been stopped. When this also did not end reservation, they found the way of lateral entry and reservations were denied to SC, ST and OBC . They have been conspiring to end reservation by selling airports, ports, PSUs to Adani and big capitalists. Reservation was also ended through outsourcing and contractual system . Looking at all this, is there any doubt that the hatred expressed by Amit Shah is the words of the heart which has come to the tongue.
If the slogan of 400 plus had come true, then by now they would have probably changed the Constitution. One nation – one election is a conspiracy to weaken the Constitution. They hate Nehru ji and Gandhi ji because they gave Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar the opportunity to become the Chairman of the Constitution Making Committee. They did not stop here but made him the Law Minister of the country. RSS / BJP hated the tricolour flag and to gain power, they changed the colours like a chameleon but sometimes heart’s words come out on tongues . Savarkar is revered by them because he wanted to implement Manusmriti in place of the Constitution.
