JAMMU: The work done by the Union Government led by PM Narendra Modi in J&K speaks louder than words about his commitment to steer the region to new heights of peace, prosperity and development.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta in a statement issued to media persons here on Sunday.
Kavinder said that the magazine of national and international fame Outlook’s recognition of AIIMS Jammu as one of the Iconic Education Institutions to look for in 2025 is the testimony to the fact that the development carried out by the Modi Government in J&K is of top class and meaningful because in every field, the experts have been lauding the centre for taking precisely perfect initiatives to get the region out of morass and bring in colossal development to provide vistas of opportunities to the people to live their lives with dignity, pride and peace.
He said that it is a matter of honour for every resident of J&K that today the AIIMS Jammu is being compared with IIT Chennai and IIM Ahmedabad for its excellence and state of art facilities. He said that PM Narendra Modi has made history by resolving Kashmir problem in the most dexterous manner, bailing out people from trouble and providing them phenomenal opportunities to thrive and carve out their lives in the best possible manner.
“Listing of AIIMS Jammu as iconic institution is just the beginning as sooner than later, the central government will enhance and improve all facilities in J&K to international class giving the people the best possible amenities, facilities and services, which they have not even thought of in their dreams”, he said, adding that the establishment of Jammu Railway Division and the start of direct train services to Kashmir are also outstanding contributions of Modi Government as these were the jobs which other governments had never dwelled into.
“The Modi Government has proved to be the best government in the country till date because what it has given to people is simply unparalleled to what other dispensations have given so far”, he maintained.
