Jammu Gets Daily (Except Saturday) Flight to Hindon, Ghaziabad from March 23
Air India Express launches Hindon-Jammu flights from March 23, enhancing connectivity and offering economical travel for NCR and Jammu passengers.
Jammu, March 16 – In a major boost to regional air connectivity, Air India Express will commence operations on the Hindon (Ghaziabad) – Jammu route from March 23, 2025. This initiative aims to provide a convenient and cost-effective travel option for passengers, particularly those commuting between Jammu and the southern parts of the National Capital Region (NCR), including Noida and Ghaziabad.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh shared the update on X (formerly Twitter), calling it “heartening news for Jammu-Delhi travelers.” He highlighted that the new flight service would offer a more economical and hassle-free alternative for passengers who frequently travel between these regions.
The flight will operate daily, except Saturdays, with the following schedule:
- Arrival at Jammu: 11:30 AM
- Departure from Jammu: 1:00 PM
This development follows another recent announcement by Dr. Singh regarding enhanced flight services for Jammu & Kashmir. On March 8, he confirmed that Civil Aviation authorities had approved the launch of a morning flight between Jammu and Srinagar from April 1, aimed at easing travel for government officials, business professionals, and other frequent commuters.
These measures reflect the government’s commitment to improving air travel accessibility for the region, reducing transit times, and fostering economic growth by facilitating smoother connectivity between Jammu, Delhi, and beyond.
