JKBOSE Postpones Class 10 &11 Exams in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh Due to Doda Restrictions
Board cites safety concerns and transport curbs in Doda; fresh exam dates to be announced soon.
Srinagar, Sep 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday postponed the Class 10th and 11th examinations scheduled for September 10 across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, due to law and order restrictions in Doda district.
According to an official statement, curbs on public movement and transportation in Doda made it difficult to conduct the exams as planned. The board said the decision was taken in the interest of student safety and to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations.
JKBOSE further informed that revised dates for the postponed papers will be notified separately.
