Nitin Gadkari to Grace Inaugural Convocation of FUEL

Union Minister to Confer Degrees, Inaugurate AI & Data Science PGDM Program, and Celebrate 19th Foundation Day

PUNE, Sept 13: The FUEL Business School, part of the FUEL Group of Educational Institutions, will hold its inaugural convocation ceremony tomorrow in Pune. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, will be the Chief Guest at the event, which will witness 200 students receiving degrees and CSR scholarships.

During the ceremony, Gadkari will also inaugurate the institution’s new Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, reflecting FUEL’s focus on preparing future leaders in emerging technologies.

The convocation will coincide with FUEL’s 19th Foundation Day celebrations, led by the principles of One Vision, One Mission, and a Skilled Nation. Chief Mentor Santosh Huralikoppi and FUEL COO Mayuri Deshpande will also be present at the event.

Dr. Ketan Deshpande, Chairman and CEO of FUEL, said that students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and CSR-supported certificate programs will be awarded degrees and certificates. The event will also recognize outstanding individuals in the CSR domain with the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Leadership Award.

A CSR and HR panel discussion featuring prominent corporate leaders from across India will be held, emphasizing FUEL’s commitment to skill development and youth empowerment. The institution, nationally and internationally recognized, has received the Champions of Change Award from the Prime Minister and recently signed a key MoU with the Maharashtra government at the World Economic Forum to promote youth development and employability.
