New Delhi, Sept 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday offered heartfelt tributes to Maa Kushmanda, the fourth manifestation of Goddess Durga, on the fourth day of the Navratri festival.

In a post on his official X handle, PM Modi expressed deep reverence for the goddess and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the nation.
“During Navratri, today I offer my repeated salutations to the fourth form of Devi Mata, Maa Kushmanda! I pray to the resplendent Devi Maa, who shines like the sun, that she blesses all her devotees with prosperity and happiness. May her divine light illuminate everyone’s life,” he said.

Maa Kushmanda, revered in Hindu tradition, is believed to be the cosmic force who created the universe with her divine smile. Symbolizing vitality, energy, and new beginnings, she is worshipped for strength, wisdom, and good fortune.

On this day, devotees traditionally wear royal blue, a color representing elegance, dignity, and divine power. The fourth day of Navratri holds special spiritual significance as millions of worshippers across India seek Maa Kushmanda’s blessings.
