BJP holds meeting of PAs of MPs and MLAs to strengthen public outreach and service delivery

Jammu, 05 October 2025:Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, today held a meeting of the Personal Assistants (PAs) of BJP MPs and MLAs at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The meeting was chaired by Sat Sharma (CA), President, J&K BJP, along with Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), and was also addressed by General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan, and Secretary Pawan Sharma.

In his address, Sat Sharma said that PAs play a crucial role as the direct bridge between the public and the elected representatives. They are often the first point of contact for the people and, therefore, their conduct, responsiveness, and commitment greatly reflect the image of the public representatives as well as the party. He stressed that good behaviour, courteous communication, and prompt public service must be the hallmark of every PA’s working style.

Sat Sharma emphasized that the BJP government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has launched numerous welfare schemes aimed at the upliftment of the poor and needy. He said that it is the duty of every PA to ensure that the benefits of these welfare initiatives reach the last person in the queue. He stressed that the PAs should help in coordinating with government departments, ensuring that developmental works and welfare schemes are implemented smoothly and effectively at the grassroots. He also directed them to remain vigilant towards the redressal of core developmental issues in their respective constituencies and to ensure that no grievance of the common public goes unheard.

Ashok Koul, in his address, asked the PAs to work with full dedication and discipline, following the party’s organizational ethics. He said that their coordination with party workers and the general public determines the efficiency and image of the representatives they serve. He added that for the proper management of all such works, the role of PAs becomes paramount, as they help MPs and MLAs in organizing and monitoring constituency activities efficiently. The behaviour of PAs and their responsiveness define the public’s faith in BJP leadership, he stated.
