Uttar Pradesh, Oct 16 :  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday officially launched the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election campaign in Bihar ahead of the state assembly polls, emphasizing the party’s focus on accelerated development through the “double engine” governance model.

CM Adityanath paid homage to Bihar’s cultural and spiritual landmarks, including the sacred land of Goddess Sita, underscoring the state’s rich heritage. Speaking to supporters, he highlighted the BJP’s vision of progress driven by coordinated efforts between the Centre and the state government.

Taking to social media, Yogi Adityanath wrote, “Namaskar, sisters and brothers of Bihar! Today, I have the privilege of visiting Danapur and Saharsa  the sacred land of Mata Janaki and the wisdom filled soil of Lord Buddha. This is the true strength of our democracy.”

He reiterated the party’s development agenda, stating, “The double engine government will continue to drive Bihar’s growth with greater speed, dignity, and pride.”

According to party officials, CM Adityanath’s campaign began with rallies in Danapur and Saharsa, with plans to address nearly 25 rallies across the state in the coming weeks. Bihar is scheduled to go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11, and the BJP is counting on Adityanath to energize the party base and promote its governance narrative.
