HCM Omar Abdullah attended the last rites of deceased at Karan Nagar
Srinagar, 05 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Wednesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of mother of Party Treasurer and MP elect Shammi Oberoi.
Remembering the departed soul, Dr. Farooq Abdullah described her as “a pillar of resilience and grace whose gentle spirit, unwavering faith and selfless dedication to her family will forever inspire us.”
Vice President & Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah echoed these sentiments, extending heartfelt sympathies to Shammi Oberoi, Harry Oberoi and the family during this difficult time.
Party leaders including General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Advisor to the HCM Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Advisors Mudassar Shahmiri and Mushtaq Guroo, senior leaders Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Abdul Rahim Rather, Shameema Firdous, Sakina Itoo, Mubarak Gul, Mian Altaf Ahmad, Sajad Kichloo, Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial Presidents Rattan Lal Gupta, Showkat Ahmad Mir, Hon’ble MLA’s, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Women’s Wing Provincial President Er. Later, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended the last rites of the deceased at Karan Nagar Shamshan Bhoomi, Srinagar, where the party rank and file, along with people from different walks of life, gathered to pay their final respects.
