Mahhi Vij Announces TV Comeback After 9 Years Amid Rumours of Divorce with Jay Bhanushali
The actress, who has been in the spotlight over reports of marital discord with husband Jay Bhanushali, announced her comeback with Seher Hone Ko Hai and dismissed rumours about a Rs 5 crore alimony demand.
Mumbai, Nov 6 : Television actress Mahhi Vij, who has been making headlines amid ongoing rumours of her separation from husband Jay Bhanushali, has announced her much awaited comeback to television after nine years.
In her latest vlog, Mahhi revealed she has started shooting for Colors TV’s new show Seher Hone Ko Hai and expressed excitement about returning to the small screen. “It’s the first day, and I am very excited to be shooting again. I feel blessed to have gotten work when I needed it. The wait is over, your Nakusha is back,” she said.
Mahhi also shared glimpses from the set, where she plays the role of a mother to a teenage daughter. She admitted feeling emotional about leaving her children behind but added, “When I wanted to get back on TV, I wasn’t getting offers. I was earning well through Instagram, but I wanted to act again.”
Amid her professional return, Mahhi addressed ongoing speculation about her personal life. The actress clarified on her YouTube channel that reports claiming she demanded ₹5 crore alimony from Jay are baseless. “Those saying I have signed papers please show me proof. Show me the documents before making such claims,” she said.
Mahhi urged people to respect their family’s privacy, adding that such rumours affect their children. “Nowadays, every child has a phone. These kinds of news stories impact them. My son even sent me a report and asked, ‘What’s going on, Mama?’” she shared.
Mahhi and Jay, who tied the knot in 2011, are parents to three children Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer. While she did not confirm or deny their separation, she dismissed divorce reports as “rumours” and thanked fans for their continued support.
Meanwhile, Jay Bhanushali recently returned from a trip to Japan and brought Mahhi a Christian Dior lipstick, a gesture that the actress mentioned fondly in her vlog.
Her return to television marks a new chapter in both her personal and professional life, as fans eagerly await her performance in Seher Hone Ko Hai.
