RJD Exudes Confidence as Voting Begins in Final Phase of Bihar Assembly Elections

Party leader Shakti Singh Yadav says Bihar voters eager to see Tejashwi Yadav as Chief Minister amid strong pro-alliance sentiment

Patna, Nov 11 — As polling continues in the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has voiced strong confidence in the Mahagathbandhan’s victory, asserting that the people of Bihar are ready for a leadership change under Tejashwi Yadav.
RJD leader Shakti Singh Yadav said the voting trend from the first phase, held on November 6 across 121 constituencies, clearly indicated growing support for the alliance. “Over 80 percent of seats show a public trend favouring Mahagathbandhan candidates. There’s uneasiness among those who, after misusing power, have pushed Bihar into administrative disarray,” Yadav remarked.
He added that the enthusiasm at polling booths during the ongoing second phase reflects the public’s strong desire for change. “The long queues, the smiles on voters’ faces especially women show the mood across Bihar. The people want to see Tejashwi Yadav take oath as Chief Minister on the 18th,” he said.
The second phase of voting, covering 122 constituencies, will decide the fate of several key candidates and determine the final outcome of the high-stakes Bihar Assembly polls.
