Body of Driver Recovered from Vehicle at Sopore Mandi, Probe Underway
Noor Muhammad from Uttar Pradesh discovered unresponsive in parked vehicle; police probe underway to determine exact cause of death.
Sopore, Nov 14: A man working as a driver was found dead inside his vehicle at Sopore Mandi in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
Officials said the vehicle was noticed parked under suspicious circumstances, prompting police to reach the spot and cordon off the area. Upon inspection, a dead body was recovered from inside the vehicle and the deceased was identified as Noor Muhammad, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
A senior police officer told KNC that the incident “apparently seems to be a case of suffocation,” though he clarified that all possibilities are being looked into.
The police have initiated a detailed investigation to establish the exact cause of death.
