Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Fully Performed in The Eras Tour: The Final Show

Vancouver concert film premieres December 12 on Disney+, giving fans front-row access to Swift’s blockbuster tour

India, Dec 02 : Excitement is building among Taylor Swift fans as the superstar has released the official trailer for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour: The Final Show, set to premiere on December 12. The concert film captures the grand finale of Swift’s record breaking ‘Eras Tour’ in Vancouver, offering audiences a front row experience from the comfort of home.

A major highlight of the movie is the full performance of ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, a segment added after the release of her April 2024 album. Fans will get to witness this highly anticipated part of the tour in its entirety for the very first time.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Swift wrote, “Just 11 days until the final show of The Eras Tour is all yours. The Final Show now featuring THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT on @disneyplus beginning December 12.” The teaser also showcases hits like ‘Long Live’, with Swift speaking directly to fans: “We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour and we get to play one last show for you here tonight.” She added, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.”

In addition to The Final Show, Swift will release the first two episodes of her six-part docuseries, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, also on December 12. The series promises an intimate, behind-the-scenes view of the singer’s journey, featuring opening acts Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, along with surprise appearances by Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. The remaining episodes will release in the following weeks, completing the six-part series.

The creative team behind these projects includes acclaimed directors and producers. The End of an Era is directed by Don Argott, co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce, and produced by Object & Animal, while The Final Show is directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Productions in collaboration with Silent House Productions.
