PM Modi Pays Tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar on Death Anniversary

Prime Minister honors the architect of India’s Constitution, highlighting Ambedkar’s vision for justice, equality, and democracy.

NEW DELHI, Dec 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid homage to Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of India’s Constitution, on his death anniversary.

In a post on X, Modi wrote:

“Remembering Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas. His visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to justice, equality and constitutionalism continue to guide our national journey.”

The Prime Minister noted that Ambedkar’s ideals continue to inspire generations to uphold human dignity and strengthen democratic values.

“May his ideals keep lighting our path as we work towards building a Viksit Bharat,” Modi added.

Tributes at Prerna Sthal

PM Modi also joined Vice President C P Radhakrishnan in offering floral tributes at Ambedkar’s statue at Prerna Sthal in the Parliament House premises, commemorating the enduring legacy of the nation’s social reformer and champion of equality.
