Ladakh Reconstitutes Advisory Boards, Appoints Two New Members
Spalzes Angmo and Sheikh Gowher Hussain join Advisory Boards under preventive detention and security laws
LEH, Dec 19: The Union Territory Administration of Ladakh has reconstituted its Advisory Boards under various preventive detention and security laws, appointing new members to partially modify earlier notifications.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Spalzes Angmo, Principal District and Sessions Judge of Leh, and Sheikh Gowher Hussain, Principal District and Sessions Judge of Kargil, have been appointed as members of the Advisory Boards. The Chairman of the boards will continue in their existing role.
The move aims to ensure effective functioning of the Advisory Boards in accordance with legal provisions governing preventive detention and security matters in the Union Territory.
