Centre Allocates Cadres to 141 IFS Officers Ghulam Haider Assigned to Ladakh Segment
Centre finalizes cadre postings for 141 Indian Forest Service officers, with AGMUT cadre officer Ghulam Haider taking charge of Ladakh segment.
JAMMU, Dec 30: The Central Government has completed the cadre allocation for 141 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers of the AGMUT cadre. Among them, Ghulam Haider has been assigned the Ladakh segment, marking his official posting in the strategically significant Union Territory.
The AGMUT cadre encompasses Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories, including Delhi and Ladakh. This allocation follows standard procedures to place officers in various regions based on administrative requirements and career development plans.
Ghulam Haider’s posting to Ladakh is expected to involve key responsibilities in forest management, conservation, and sustainable development initiatives in the ecologically sensitive high-altitude region.
The cadre allocation process ensures that IFS officers are distributed across the country to manage forestry, wildlife, and environmental programs effectively while addressing region-specific ecological challenges.
